diameter meaning diameter of the master cylinder piston, although I believe that the brake/clutch hyeraulics use the same master cyl. which may be a problem for the setup I am working on.

Brakes and Clutch share the same reservoir.

Brake master cylinder is on the engine side of the fire wall.

Clutch master cylinder is mounted under the dash by the clutch pedal.
