In the past 3 months I have lost #5 coil pack 2 times, both times were intermittent failures, usually under heavy loads. 1st one I thought no big deal, now I am beginning to think that there could be something else going on, any ideas?
    Thanks!

Usually those things are highly robust. It's more likely that you have a wiring issue or some other problem.

Did you swap coil packs between cylinders to see if the pack was dead? This helps eliminate possible causes of failure
