While it’s hard to believe Summer 2014 is drawing to a close, the good news is this is California and we get a couple more months of great weather! As we transition into Fall in a few weeks, S.F. Bay Area TS-PCR and BMO members will cruise to Carmel on Saturday October 4th and enjoy lunch at the Baja Cantina: http://www.carmelcantina.com/ 7166 Carmel Valley Road, Carmel, CA 93923 - (831) 625-2252

We’ve done this same run for the past several years and had a great time. http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/82429-cruise-to-carmel-lunch-at-baja-cantina-saturday-1052013/

Here’s Larry Pierotti’s photoshow from a previous Carmel cruise: http://www.photoshow.com/watch/nc5yz6yk

Nathan (Baja Cantina's event manager) will carve out a space on their beautiful deck for our group to enjoy a great fajita buffet w/beverage ($20 cash per person – same as last year!). We have 50 seats tentatively reserved. When you post up – please remember to indicate +1, +2, etc. so we have an accurate guest list. Who’s in?

Note: For ease of editing, I’ll keep a roster of attendees in Post #2 below and for reference, here is the Team Shelby thread http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/86175-cruise-2-carmel-lunch-baja-cantina-saturday-1042014/

Blayne,

I received your PM tonight and provided some Concord lodging info.

We're looking forward to having you and your wife joining us for the day with your RR13B2.

See you at Sears SunValley on the 4th!

Jim

Looks like another fun event...that I'm going to miss. I coach my daughter's soccer team in the Fall and all the games are on Saturday. Be sure to post photos of the event. Hey I don't see Andy or the other Andy on the list.

I'm working six days a week right now through the next couple of months. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to work my magic and get that day off. Tentative at this point.

Rick,

Maybe you can join us in early December when we do a charity run to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford and catch lunch at the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company. In the meantime, I know your daughter's team will have a successful season because they have a winning coach!

Andy,

You know what they say about all work and no play... Hopefully, we'll see you on the 4th!

If you've been on the fence about joining us for the Cruise 2 Carmel - 2014, this Friday morning is the cutoff as I need to provide the Baja Cantina with a car and guest count.

See you this Saturday.

I want to thank everyone that joined us this past Saturday for the C2C and fajita buffet at the Baja Cantina. It was great to see old friends and meet some new members too!

I also want to thank Harald (H0050) for organizing our post lunch Laguna Seca visit and Larry (gt350lp) for another great Roxio PhotoShow: http://www.photoshow.com/watch/Fq3me6hA

Here are a few pics that were taken at Laguna Seca above Turn 9 at the exit from the Corkscrew.
