After a Summer of great Team Shelby events, the good news here in Northern California is we get a couple more months of pleasant weather to enjoy a few more activities! As we transition into Fall in the weeks ahead, S.F. Bay Area TS-PCR and TMO members will cruise to Carmel on Saturday October 8th and enjoy lunch at the Baja Cantina: http://www.carmelcantina.com/ 7166 Carmel Valley Road, Carmel, CA 93923 - (831) 625-2252

We’ve done this same run for the past several years and had a great time. Here’s Larry Pierotti’s photoshow from a previous Carmel - Baja Cantina cruise http://www.photoshow.com/watch/nc5yz6yk

Gina (Baja Cantina's General Manager) will carve out a space on their beautiful deck for our group to enjoy a great fajita buffet w/beverage ($25 cash per person).
When you post up – please remember to indicate +1, +2, etc. so we have an accurate guest list.

Who’s in? Note: For ease of editing, I’ll keep a roster of attendees in Post #2 below.

2 meet spots along I-680 and Hwy 101 S/B are listed below.

Our first meet location in Concord is off I-680 at the Sears SunValley parking lot shown in the lower left corner. Let's plan on arriving about 8:45am and we'll roll at 9:00am. https://www.google.com/maps/place/680+Willow+Pass+Rd,+Concord,+CA+94520/@37.965859,-122.057818,174m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x808566c92951e0fb:0x18779a270e093928!8m2!3d37.9666803!4d-122.0551415

If you want to catch the conga line on a roll in San Jose at Hwy's 85 & 101 - we'll be passing by at approximately 10:00am. https://www.google.com/maps/place/San+Jose,+CA/@37.241877,-121.769242,2807m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x808fcae48af93ff5:0xb99d8c0aca9f717b!8m2!3d37.3382082!4d-121.8863286

Our second meet location is in Gilroy located off Hwy 101 at 10th Street and Chestnut behind the McDonald's. Plan on arriving before 10:30am and we'll head out about 10:45am or so. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Gilroy,+CA+95020/@37.0025974,-121.5564626,17z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x8091e3b91553cecb:0xaefd0c1ba527283b!8m2!3d37.0057816!4d-121.5682751

This is a bit of a drive for me but those members living in the Bay Area should consider joining this event.

@Sydewaysix

This sounds like fun! My Saturday mornings are pretty packed but I'll see what I can do ;) I'll confirm attendance soon! Potentially +1 (me and my son) or +3 (the whole family).

Sydewaysix,

It would be great to have you (and your son/family) with us. Just let me know for sure around October 1st or so. Thx.

I'd love to join but I'll be at LS that day

Byron,

Have a great time!

Next year we may organize a group for the Pirelli World Challenge at LS and secure our own corral. There wasn't enough time to pull it off this year.

Best,

Jim

I should be able to make it. I'll be at Sonoma the day before, but can't think of a good reason not to make a cruise the next day.

mprichar87,

Please join us and share your Sonoma experience with us. As noted above, just firm up your RSVP by October 1st or so. Thx.

My Mustang is no longer licensed for the street so my cruising days are over. :(

Canepa Motorsport is having a cars n coffee event on the 8th in Scott's Valley, they open the shop and museum to public. May be worth the detour on the way down, I will be there before heading out to Laguna.

Try and get the corral in the infield and lake bed area not in the dirt above turn 5. ;)

Rick,

I'll see Michael tomorrow at Apple HQ for a car event and showing of "The 24 Hour War".

I'll discuss next year's plan for LS. Thanks for the recommendation.

Best,

Jim

Sal,

If you're interested, you're welcome to ride shotgun on the 8th. I'll be stopping at Bernal in the morning on the way down.

Best,

Jim
