Detailing question: bird sh&* on a hood stripe

Unfortunately one of my hood stripes took a direct hit from silver dollar sized bird shiznit. I carefully removed it with spray detailer as fast as I could but it had already etched the stripe. This is my first car with vinyl graphics so I am a bit hesitant to try to remove the mark. Is it possible to safely remove this and if so what product/process would you use? I figure someone here has had a similar experience at some point... Not a huge deal but frustrating none the less since I've only had the car for six weeks

I've had a similar sh*t encounter with my 2013. It too left a mark like yours, but it disappeared over time. My car's parked outside, I feel like being outside under the sun helped it... but don't quote me on that.

I've heard good things about two Zymol products. This is their cleaner and they have a conditioner also. I've ordered some but haven't tried it yet. Here's a pic of the cleaner. Check out what it says on the label.

Great suggestion. I will give this a try and let you know how it goes. Thank you!
