Die Cast or plastic 2012?

Does anyone know of a 2012 die cast? All I have seen are 2013's. A plastic kit your be ok as I want to make it yellow blaze. I found some spray paint that's close enough for a model.

Their part numbers are #31943 in green and #31269 in orange). Choice of cars is random during factory installation. I also purchased a Maisto, unfortunately they did not have RR at the time.

Guess I'll get one of the Masito assy line kits that you have to put together and mask off the black and repaint it. Testors make a model spray called Aztec Gold which in model scale looks very close to YB. Hopefully I can find a kit in white or maybe CO to start with.

I've used Testors Inca Gold (#1839) on an RC car and also did up an Auto World Die Cast for my collection.
Inca Gold does look pretty close. My son runs the RC around at car shows. For the small Auto World Die Cast I used printable decals.
I scanned the stripes off the car and edited and scaled the stripes. I started with a white car and drilled out the rivets and took it apart to paint it.
I think the white base works best to make the color pop.
