Has anyone added the diff temp sensor to their GT? I know the Dark Horses come with them, I installed the sensor and ran the wires, but I can't figure out where the two wires lead after going to the connector c264 in the driver-side footwell.

You already sadly spent the money but adding a mechanical gauge would be simpler. Same port in the cover just needs to be drilled out with 3/16" bit and a metric to 1/8" NPT bushing added. I am guessing you don't have a Performance Pack car as I thought they all came with it as well as Dark Horse cars.

There might be a way to read the diff temperature on a Performance Pack car with an OBD scanner but my car doesn't show me diff temperature on the dash. If the diff gets too hot it will flash a warning. Although that hasn't happened a single time on my car so I'm not sure it even works.

Is there a factory sensor on the car? If so I can't imagine there isn't a way to get it on the dash. Not available in Auxiliary Gauges on the center screen?

I used to use track addict or one of the other track performance recorders and I was able to get diff temp on whatever app it was. Obviously, there has to be a sensor there though. Those sensors are pretty easy to see on the trans and diff. I think gt350, Mach1 and some PP cars had them. My 16 PP1 did.
I haven't used that method for years now since all my recent track cars came with factory engine, trans and diff coolers.
