This video sucks.
There is no data anywhere to baseline before/after and performance gained. It's just a bunch of subjective stuff that anyone would be able to notice.
No shiznit it handles better after you throw an entirely new suspension in the car. SHOCKING.
To me, this is just one giant Cortex commercial with some really neat visuals.

cosm3os said:I think you guys miss the point of the video. It's not about hard data. It's about showing you can make a muscle car handle better. It's entertainment, not test n tune.
ArizonaBOSS said:Soon enough, buddy. I'm thinking we can knock that out the weekend before INDE? (May 17-18).
Might be able to do it May 10-11 but I promised the wife a trip to Sedona...

Nice CorteX and HOD ad. ;D. No doubt if I was going further with the suspension on my car I'd drop it off at CorteX and turn them loose on it. BTW David has the CorteX SMG suspension on his Spec Mustang.
MrAngry said:Everything we shoot goes out to over 1 million subscribers around the globe, so if we just showcased hard numbers and spring rates, it would be pretty boring for the guy who lives in Italy and drives a Fiat.
Grant 302 said:I understand that a video like this needs to be entertaining and should not 'showcase' hard numbers...but what's the harm in including them? There's no need to be so defensive for HOD or Cortex...both are frequently and highly recommended here.
1:44 is a good time for 255(?) super sports regardless of the suspension. None of the clips I saw of the car rolling looked like they were running that pace. Can you humor us with some footage?
We then went back to Cortex's Shop in Sonoma and in 3.5 hours...
After 4 hours of sleep, we drove 150 miles BACK to LS and ran again. My best times where in the low 1:44s with NO FINE TUNING, a simple shop alignment, a 250 lb camera man in the right seat and 40lbs of camera gear suction cupped to the car.
Exactly!it's just about the joy of getting grins and making noise with "muscle" cars (usually one off stuff) I don't recall an episode every mentioning a 0-60 or a 1/4 mile time
