East coast shows?

I'm looking for some good shows on the east coast to attend. I picked up my car in October and was really looking forward to Carlisle in the Spring but found out last night I won't be able to make it. My son was accepted to the summer leadership week at West Point and we need to drop him off the same Saturday as the show. On top of that I already paid for 2 days at a B&B and I don't think I'll get all of that back.

So, any other shows, cruises or events within a few hours of central NJ that I should consider?

check it out. Been there several times. its a huge car show and some over the top cars / trucks / bikes.
If your stock in appearance then don't look to win anything. Not with 400+ cars.
the entertainment is also over the top and fun for the whole family. This is a very professional car show. I always had a great time.

The American Muscle show is in August...pretty much one of the biggest Mustang shows in the country. It's held at Maple Grove raceway out past Reading PA. This is last year's link...

It looks like a great Mustang show, and hopefully the Wifie and I will be able to attend this year.

Also, as you mentioned, I want to make the All Ford Nationals at Carlise, PA in the first week of June 2016. Here is a link:

I attended this show in 2012 and took my then almost new 2012 KB Boss 302. Everyone loved the car as it was still fairly new. I found 3 other Boss 302's in attendance and on day 2 we all parked together. It was a great time.

You will find a ton more if you go this year! I've gone to Carlisle the past 8 years. It's a great time. The 12-13 Boss section probably had about 30 in it last year.

Thanks guys. The American Muscle show looks like it would be worth the trip. I was really looking forward to Carlisle. At least the B&B was cool and refunded all of our payment.

Here is a great event if you like a little straight line fun with your shows; http://www.maplegroveraceway.com/nmra-ford-nationals/
I first attended this in 1987 when I was a fairly avid drag racer, haven't been back since 1993 but thinking of going for fun.
