I've had my engine drained of coolant and oil, sitting in a state of partial disassembly since January. In the midst of several involved upgrades and I'm in parts backorder limbo hell, but that's a whole other story!
The other day a thought flashed through my mind: Should I be concerned about corrosion developing in the block or system components? Everything is open to the atmosphere and surely there are pockets residual coolant in places, so not necessarily a dry environment inside there.
