Down the corkscrew we go.
This is about the best exhaust clip I have.
Make a mental note for next time we are talking about mufflers. ;)

Sounds good! And thats all of with Laguna seca sound limits???
We have a 103db limit for racing and I make that easily....I'm one of the quietest cars on track.
I have not tested it on a 90 db day, it might make it, but then again maybe not....it would be close though.

The following video is a good comparison of cars that pass the 103 db vs. mine.
Then also listen to the car trailing behind me as that car makes laguna's 90 db sound and I think he's louder than I am.
A good bit of the recipe is where the exhaust dumps out. He's straight out the back and I'm turned down under the car.
That makes a big difference. What DB are you trying to make?

Lol. I remember that video, sounds like a family car!! But I bet it sounds better when your on the throttle! Well you can see it does in the laguna seca video.

Another Personal best-1:45.0
That’s good for second fast overall.
Lots of traffic though, could have been much faster. Maybe next time. 😉

Yeehaaa! Looking forward to the videos. At least some one is racing 😭 .
That’s 2.1 seconds faster than last time.
I think we are going the right way on chassis setup.

New Cortex ARB on the rear?
It’s on but disconnected. I’ll try it again at nationals. All I gotta do is pull a pin and it’s connected back up so I can test back to back. At the moment I still like my original setup best. It’s not for everyone but I like it.

Qualifying.
This is the only clean lap I got and it was the first lap at speed. the tires were cold and greasy so I was taking it easy. The rest of the laps were much faster but I always ran into traffic that killed my lap time so I pulled off in disgust. Little did I know it was a personal best. There is much more time in this car still.

Taking it easy. Na- that looked smooth and fast.

Looks like you got the shifter sorted!
I just changed the fluid. It’s better, but still grinds a lot. Gonna have to do synchros or dog rings soon. Let’s see if it holds together tomorrow.
