That was after he chastised me for packing it in a ziplock bag and putting it in a box filled with Styrofoam peanuts.
I said I was being careful as I didn't want it to be damaged in the mail and he barked well it makes a damn mess so it's been sitting in the corner for a week.

Yeah, nice.

Yes, there is a very sharp left turn, but I have power for 70 m or so till I start turning right, then it goes away. We usually run this course in the other way, downhill, I have zero problems. But running uphill always gets me on this one curve.
When you turn left all the fuel goes over the hump so when you turn right there is not much fuel left near the pump and it starts picking up air.

On a somewhat nicer note....I got my canards all mounted up today.
You can see how much wider they are than the splitter and how much tire is extending past the splitter's edge. That's going to be a redo.

Are the endplates at the edge of the splitter (the ones that run up the wheel well to block air from flowing over the protruding wheels) not necessary when you are using canards?

This is an epic setup. I find aerodynamics fascinating but have only just started reading into it. Nice to see another 3v diving in.

That's being addressed.
The splitter is being re done to accommodate the wider wheels and will include a dive plane....sometimes called "Spats".

And there it is, splitter #3. "Bigger and Bolder".
This one is just a touch longer and wide enough to match the 12" wheels.
Going to add some aero treatment to the trailing edges, but this is it for today.

I had the opportunity to see Spec Fab (@Fabmans) shop and IMO, one of TMO's rockstar cars. Its beautiful. We had a great conversation. And as usual, I got lost in the suspension, but I know thats my weak point. The fab work on the parts I saw him and his son (Richard, IIRC) are pretty damn epic. His welder is cool also, Just didn't get him name .

I used to rebuild aircraft and Sals specs are higher than FAA.. But don't call it a cherry max (inside joke)

Now onto that spoiler I want.. :D
