Holy shiznit! and thats on stock internals?? I left my redline at 7800rpm after the last two engine failures... just gets to dam expensive.
All stock with the oil mods I showed you. They are key.

This wet sh!t is going to kill the sport for me, I have zero interest in racing like this. I should have built another stock car.....FrankenStang just may be up for sale at the end of the season. One day races, no hotel Bill, no getting up at 3am and driving 3 hours, racing is at night when it’s cool, there are no wet races, go home Saturday night after the race and sleep in on Sunday with your trophy and winnings $$$ and a belly full of pizza. Now that’s more my style.

Redlines are RED for a reason........many of us know that for a fact........................now that it may be reason a little too late.....................to matter............My '69 Toyota Corolla had a redline at 5500....My Boss laughs at that.................

Like all your oil mods and notes taken... but in the end its also the physics of stroke length, piston speed and heat etc... Maybe your right and I wasted a lot of time and money of lighter forged internals

Qualifying:
Ran my personal best time, was fastest in class and second quick overall with a 3.7 second advantage over P3. 33 cars qualified. I’ll be starting in the front row tomorrow for an 8:30 am race.
Let’s hope we don’t have another cold, damp morning. 😳

I am no expert, this is coming from Shaun. He’s not worried a bit. However I WILL be changing some gears....this is much more RPM than I’m comfortable with.
