Okay, I filled the trans with Amsoil ATF. That's what I ran in my other Tremec and it shifted flawlesly.
Lets hope something magic happens.

Sorry if I missed it but what were you running in the trans prior to this?

No shifter stop bolts in a magnum that I know of…
There's a cheap upgrade for that, but for the life of me I can't remember where to find it, it involves removing the stick and replacing some of the bushings, been about 8 years ago, you may have to google it. As I recall, it was relatively easy to do.

Cold and damp. One car already in the wall and totaled. Me….I’m just waiting and hoping for a safe qualifying run. I guess one of the porsches is screaming fast…..we’ll see when they turn the times in today. Stay tuned.

Some fast company today. Ran my personal best 1:37.1 and it was only good for 5th fast overall and 3rd in class. They black flagged the session so I only got 3 laps. All 3 1:37’s. Gonna be an eventful weekend I’m sure of that. Kevin’s car is out with a fueling issue so that’s no fun. More to follow.

I only got 3 laps so nothing was warmed up but it didn’t pop out once. Hopefully we are done with that. We’re up in 30 min…. Stay tuned.

Okay, out of 18 ITE cars I finished 3rd with a 4th overall. Two of the Porsche's were just blazingly fast, and one of the stock cars got a new motor and he’s picked up quite a bit of speed. I never even saw the Porsche's after the first couple laps. No challengers for me so I just ran around and tried to save tires and brakes. The really good news is the trans never missed a beat and my oil blow by situation seems fixed. I have to drain the tank to measure, but the level is still on the stick so we can’t have lost much. I’m going to call this a successful Saturday. Let’s see what Sunday brings.1B67B137-9C42-4A02-8E2A-79A35A44898F.png
