Why Machine a set of polished billet aluminum splitter mounts?

Because we can.

So much for “as simple as possible” lol.

I have another saying:
“Anything worth doing is worth over doing”.
That fits better with my OCD tendencies.

Half Assed??? I think Fab has been pretty well documented on all his builds, but I give him the benefit of the doubt, I think it's in his Genes ( or maybe hers ) to keep a few things secret!

😳…That shifter is just bad ass.
I wanted to do dog rings too so it would be like a Jerico (almost) but with all that I'm doing right now I didn't want to spend the money.

Done.
Adjusted, pinned and sealed up. I’m ready for a motor.
Can’t wait to see what Shaun @ AED has whipped up for us this year.1f61b.png

Man, shipping is getting out of hand.
This small reverse lever for my shifter is about the size of your index finger.

Shifter is looking really cool.... But will it help?? Since its not dogged toothed etc your clutch foot will still be relevant? or did I miss something??? Looking forward to seeing it at work at the track!

I lived in Hawaii for 2 years so I have had a small taste of shipping woes already and I don't like it.

I bought this shifter back when I was still using 5th gear.
That cross gate shift and then un shift was less than precise and I sometimes ended up in the wrong gear which is no fun at all, so this was going to be the fix. Now with the coyote and close ratio trans I no longer use 5th but I have this shifter lying around and the motor/trans is out so...what the hay.
I had loosely planned on making a dog box out of it but at this point I didn't want to spend the extra money on top of a motor rebuild and everything else I'm doing.
I keep telling myself this is my last year in the car so its hard to justify even more stuff that I really don't need. Will this make a big difference? ....probably not. Hopefully it doesn't hurt.
