Finally... I own one.

After years of lurking on this forum and playing with these cars while working at both CDC and Watson Racing, I am finally VERY happy to say I own one, and I LOVE this car. I'll get it on the track one of these days, but right now, I'm just lucky enough to even have it in my garage!

I'm very happy to see that my friends at Watson have sponsored the forum- John and team are stand-up folks.

Thanks all! You know in all honestly, I'm not too anxious to tear into this one. I've built two heavily modified S197s over the years, and just don't want to go crazy on this one... yet. I sold my 2007 Mustang to fund the Boss - while I should have banked that money, somehow my wife graciously said ok to this one. The car only has 10k miles on it, but needs a few things due to the lack of care of the previous owner(s). Someday, I'd like to get the Ford Perf "T" springs, a set of track wheels/tires, 302S splitter, Watson 4-point, etc. I wanted a full race car/project... but just not the right time in my life. My 2-yr-old and 7-mo-old kids currently occupy all of my time & money One day though.

This was my 2005 - spent way too much time/energy on it, but I loved it.

Thanks guys for all the kind words! What a great group. Always was (and still is) my pleasure to help while @ Watson. I do miss being there, personally involved in the race car programs and surrounded by those things... but needed to take it to the next level for my family, on the OEM side of things.
