Good morning!
Last night many of my apps on my phone ( Android System ) would not open or would close as soon as I opened.
Here is the fix that I found that worked for me - Install the Chrome update that became available through the night.

PSA: If your Android apps keep crashing, update 'WebView' and Chrome [Permanent fix]
Android users seeing constant app crashing can update the Android System WebView component and Google Chrome to fix the problem...
