Nope. Affordable??

I know and this was my initial thought. But if Ford makes this into a production piece, they would have to bring down the traditional high cost of a CF K-Member. So this begs the question:

If a CF K-Member was available for your S197 or S550 chassis Mustang, what would you pay for it? (Assuming it would be 1/3 of the OEM part weight?)

I would be interested if price point was $2-2,500 USD.

FYI - The OEM K-member for my Boss was just a hair over 44 pounds. The BMR k-member I replaced it with was 24 pounds. (Not including the hardware in both numbers) - For that kind of money, it better come in under 10 pounds o_O

That's good to know! Scratch that as the weight savings would never justify the cost. I'd have to save 40-50 lbs to spend a few k.
