Ford Oil Seperator install Tips

The seperator to intake hose is not designed specifically for our Boss intakes and the flexible area of the hose severely kinks when installing.

The solution is to heat the "flex" area with a heat gun on "LOW" just to warm that area of the hose then immediately install. This takes the kink completely out.

Secondly the body of the seperator contacts the coolant overflow hose and with time could result in a hole in the hose.

The easiest solution is to loosen the two 10mm hold down bolts on the resevoir and rotate it clockwise a little to provide space between the two and re-tighten.
