Ford Performance Tow Hooks For The GT350

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

The tow hooks from the FP350S are now showing on the FP website and should be available soon. No specific availability date or instructions were given. I like how they are bolt on pieces with only a small hole needed up front and only removal of the backup light out back.

Thanks to @BigTaco for bringing this to my attention.

FP GT350 Front Tow Hook / S550 Rear Tow Hook

Saw this mentioned on the 6G forum, but thought I would add it here as well:

Front tow hook (mounts in upper grille) $88:

Rear Tow Hook (in place of reverse light) $110:

I just acquired another model front hook, so now I'm in a quandary. The prices are very decent!

Happy to have the rear hook since nobody else was really producing a solution.

I'll stick with my ZL1Addons on the front until I get enough motivation to change it. (Probably not.)

On the positive side, the front hook is very neat and doesn't add much weight. It is not removable and does require cutting the grille. Will be putting this on the Race car.

For the rear, I prefer the Watson solution. It saves weight as their bumper beam is lighter and retains the back up light. On the down side you have to cut the facia, but it's behind the license plate.

I picked my front tow hook at Watson Racing at lunch. Got home, unpacked it, wasn't happy with the red powdercoating (2 spots were a bit chipped) which anyway wouldn't look nice with my Grabber Blue.

So i took out the tools and started sanding and grinding it down to bare metal. Most of the powdercoating chipped away in large pieces at once, signs of a poor powdercoating job.

I'll powdercoat it black myself tomorrow along with some other stuff i'm doing for my other car.

I'll document the install tomorrow also.

It's on the car now, took me about 5h to fit it... pain in the butt but it looks awesome so 100% worth it. Just in time for my first trackday today :)

What no pic?

I've been dreading installing my front tow hook (rocket science model). I'd almost rather pull the engine than take off the front bumper cover.

Update - I just read the instructions for this as they were not online earlier -> "It is highly recommended that you drill these Holes on a Drill Press." Hmmm...
