Big Thumbs DOWN to Ford for not having any American drivers.
I'm pretty sure there are US and European based teams and both teams will be at LeMans. The US team has some US drivers.

FWIW it was British drivers including Bruce McLaren that won LeMans in 1966. ;)

Life is short. Live well!
LeMans is a of a kind spectacle. The team running the entire WEC should have an American. Sorry but Ford doesn't get a pass on this one. What country buys the most Ford vehicles..... Let me think!

I think those are some excellent choices for American race car Drivers, as they certainly known their way to the podium.

I'm just glad we won't have to suffer through another Patrick Dempsey documentary! Oh that got painful.

Race on,

Which begs the question: Why don't they use Mustangs (For that matter Camaros and Challengers) in NASCAR Sprint cup races? I know they use them in the Nationwide series but the only explanation I ever got from friends was that the manufacturers have no problem selling these cars so they choose to run models that they hope the marketing will increase sales. Anyone have a better reason?

NASCAR has always been about sedans, at least in the premier series. There was a convertible class year ago but two door sedans have been the center of attention for years.

Win on Sunday, sell on Monday usually works brand wide.

NASCAR always had to be an American made full size sedan....at least when I was active. Now they let freaking Toyotas in and the whole place has gone to hell.
