Front Stabilizer Importance

I did an experiment that make sure the front stabilizer effect.

How to do experiment:
Compare between front stabilizer delete or not in the track. My stang is 12' Brembo pkg, nearly stock condition except 165lbs weight loss.

Conclusion:
- Stock front stabilizer really works well. It can reduce rolling very effectively.
- The stock LSD doesn't lock strongly, this causes the car can't go forward under the lateral G. The torque is provided to the wheel which is less contact to road.
- If you are not a drag race enthusiast, it is better not to delete front stabilizer for loosing the weight.

Absolutely right!

Our cars stock are setup softly sprung, and "stiffly barred". The pedestrian spring rates are greatly offset by the stiffness of the bars.
They are absolutely there to create the balance that the car has in stock form. With aftermarket suspension in there, one can remove the bar but must have springrates to compensate.

You'll find that most race prepared strut cars have very high front roll stiffness in relation to the rear.
