The repeater is a poorly worded product as mentioned above that takes the "new" code that exists in my opener and "translates" it to be able to communicate with the older technology in the GENK51A and similar mirrors. I have one on order and will certainly report on if this solves the issue as Chamberlain is fairly certain it will.
