Black Boss said:Yes, using Girodisc front and rear, direct swap.
Upgraded to Pagids at the same time - great improvement, and less weight.
Replacement rings are available direct from Girodisc.
NFSBOSS said:Don't you get heat checking on all rotors?
Black Boss said:Heat checking is not an issue on rears -- ran them all the way down to 17.4mm.
Fronts I replaced after 18 days on track, close call on whether they will wear or heat check first. I took them off before they were done to have a spare bedded set in the trailer. They were worn down 1mm and showing some significant heat checking.
Am changing front pads about every 6-8 days.
TMSBOSS said:I have Girodisc and Pagid set up.
Once I Properly bedded the front I have had zero issues.
I had the brake ducts open the first time I bedded the pads. Mistake.
Cleaned up the rotors and taped up the Intakes and it worked like a charm.
Stop great.
I see wear on the rears from spirited highway driving if I leave the traction control on.
Replacement rings are reasonable.
Recommend.
