Well as we wait to see when production starts, and it's looks like it's been delayed from the first week in August, those that have your orders in what wheels are you looking at? Seems people with R orders are already thinking of not using the CF wheels for the track and if not what are you going to use?

I'm predicting seven spoke wheels are going to be very popular on S550 Mustang and I think these are some of the finest. Not sure what will be more expensive though, the stock CF wheels or these HRE's. Picture them in satin black. What other wheels will look good on the GT350?

Yes but for serious track work how will they hold up with multiple tire changes? You go first. ;)

I think the stock CF wheels will be $4-5K and probably the high end of that range.

I didn't think those HRE's were that expensive but they look marvelous!

Can you elaborate on this? I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else.

The 2016 production was supposed to start the first week in Aug. production schedule is released on Thursdays. So far no GT350's have been scheduled. Stay tuned for the latest updates.

The latest word is Apex is going to make 19" wheels for S550 fitment. It's still undetermined if they will be able to make wheels wide enough for the GT350. I can see them making 19x11 but you'll need a 19x11.5 to match the rear wheel on the R. Having a 19x10.5 and 19x11 will be a big step in the right direction.

An example of their 19" wheels for BMW's:

Hot.

How about some Finspeed wheels? I guy local to me with a Z/28, no not that guy, has the F11's on his car and they look nice. Supposedly the owner is very easy to work with. While I like the F5 I think the F11 might be more resistant to bending. These look to be a bit less expensive the CCW's. Anyone ever run a set of Finspeeds?

That first one looks suspiciously like a Pro-E drawing I did when I was heading into the job market from college...

But to answer your question no, never run those. They look nice. Hard to argue with CCW's options, however.

Someone posted this in the 6G forum. I'll probably end up going with CCW or Finspeed but I thought some might be interested in these. They look identical to the non-R wheels. Might very well be made in the same factory. I only wish they had an 11.5 or 12-inch available.

Edit: These will NOT CLEAR the GT350 front brakes.

Not sure. I haven't found a reseller yet.

I noticed that it says they're specifically made for the S550 platform. I assume that just refers to the offset and bore size. Is it safe to assume that the offsets and especially the bore size of the GT350 are the same?
