I like the Avalanche, too, I just don't know if it would ever look as clean and crisp to me as white does. Very close to light-colored primer, IMO. I'd trade a shade-of-gray in the options for a good burgundy, copper, root beer, etc.

That said, I saw a dark (Magnetic?) gray GT roll down the road last night. Much better at night than during the day. A GT350 would look pretty mean in that. 8) I'm still partial to white w/ black accents. It finally hit me why I've always thought that combo looks sporty and tough, as plain as it is. Stormtroopers made a strong impression on me as a child (born '71). ::)

Is the (on-command) dual-mode exhaust standard on the base GT350 as well? I've only seen it flexed on the GT350R videos.

I'm assuming that "active valves" are electronic cut outs that can open and close at the touch of a button as standard equipment making the exhaust either go through mufflers or wide open. I've added them to my Boss where the restrictor plate in the exhaust is. I took that description straight off the Ford info page. Please note I said "I'm assuming" that's what they are.

This is correct. There's a video out there demonstrating the exhaust modes. In the video, when the car is revved with the valves closed, you can see the exhaust only coming out of the outer two exhaust tips, with the valves open, you see the exhaust only coming out of the inner two as it becomes a straight pass-through.

Speaking of wheels another shot of the P1 wheel and the GT350 wheel. Those McLaren guys are always copying Ford. LOL

I love the look of the standard gt350 wheels.

That's what I thought. Somewhat similar to QTP cutouts. I like mine but find myself leaving them open about 99% of the tyme.
