Now I see where your going with color. Very interesting choice and clean. I wasn't crazy about the gray but with the blue coming into the picture... I'm liking what little Blu I see.
If I remember correctly, when the Boss 12 came out. Someone had a silver LS and changed the stripes to Blu. I thought they worked very well together.

From the measurements Tob had on the 6G site, I think they will be identical rate to the R springs on the front and more variable on the back. That is, the track pack springs are more variable than the linear R spring in the back.

More progress. Now have the solid Cortex bushings in the Front LCA's:



Installed the FRPP Front Springs and MM Camber Plates:

You're gonna love the control arm bearings. I installed them in my car front and rear last year and made a huge difference.

Installed the FP spherical Toe bearings in the Rear Knuckles today:


The instructions say to use a ball joint press, but after several attempts, a bench press is my recommendation....

@Black Boss how was the install of the studs, we had to make new press tooling to get them to go in damage free. They need to start VERY straight. The 1/2" ones have a nice taper so they fall into place, the 14mm, not so much.

@OPMustang Tim Yes the ARP studs have a longer and larger diameter spline than stock. Inserted one at a time using the other studs and the wheel (with the hub removed) as a jig. Then used a open ended nut to draw the stud into the hub. Time consuming, but worked great.

Probably helped that I have the CF wheels -- the deep barrel keeps the stud straight.

Needed all of 140 ft lbs to draw the studs in -- a way higher percentage of max torque than the 1/2" studs on the S197

I was having similar issues/concerns installing the ARP studs. Finally I decided to just start torquing on them and they straightened out and went in fine.

ARP uses an aggressive knurl, OE uses a very mild one. The idea is to get plenty of bite in the hub. The diameter of the stud itself is only about .003" larger on the shoulder but with the knurl it's about .005-.007" larger than OE.

Finished installing the harness mounts and did the trial fit for the race seat:

Got the Front, Knuckles, Hubs and LCA's installed, along with the recently installed Cortex bushings in the rear LCA's:

No Pics, But temporarily installed the Engine today to load the front suspension prior to torquing the inner LCA mounts (which need to be loaded) and also measured hose lengths for a larger (Setrab 948) Engine Oil Cooler.

Engine back out, and Front suspension fully installed.
