HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

Andreas I hope you have a wonderful weekend and get a chance to join us soon. ;)

Happy 4th of July to everyone.

We'll be BBQ'ing brats and burgers this evening and then a BIG box of fireworks for the kids to light off.

Nathan's 4th of July Hot dog eating contest results from earlier today at Coney Island, N.Y. 8 time reigning champ Joey Chestnut defeated by Matt Stonie. Final count Stonie 62 dogs to Joey's 60 (in 10 minutes). I came in last with a 2 dog rally ;D

Nathan's hot dog eating contest

Joey Chestnut takes back the yellow mustard championship belt beating Matt Stonie 70 dogs & buns to Stonie's 53 in ten minutes. The 70 dogs is a new Coney Island record. The women's contest was won by Miki Sudo with 38.5 dogs eaten.

I will be vying for the old geezer contest title later trying to tie my record of 2..all-tho contest favorite Tyme stated he will have no problem eating 3.....I believe our tyme limit is a half hour, so he might have a shot.

Still a coin toss. Do I bring the Boss or the 350?

Life’s tough. LOL

BTW. I asked the wife if I could buy a two spot trailer. I’ll spare you from the long version of the answer. The short version.......Nope.

I'll be firing up the grill in about an hour to compete in the Nathan's Old Geezer Hot dog eating contest.I should be able to match my all-tyme record of 2...the pressure will be on Tyme, since he boasted a total of 3 from his camp. The suspense is mounting by the minute!!!!
