Passenger side, up against side wall adjacent to right front fender. There is at least one switched fuse circuit to tap into.

thanks Pete. i bought it late yesterday drove her home haven't had time yet to crawl all over her.

Been meaning to do this myself. Gonna use a rear view mirror mount and was thinking about just tapping into the push button lights there.

rearview mirror mount nice package but obstructs vision and beware of gravity. The Valentine one needs a good ground too.
keep me posted

Think that's like asking Ford or Chevy lol.
I've had my V1 since 2001 and is all I'll use. Love it. Once you get used to the arrows you can't go back.

I have an escort 9500i and it works great. Sounds like either is a great choice. I like being able to program in alerts for specific locations as well as it remembering and ignoring false positives due to non-police radar (automatic doors, etc). It has a different alarm sound for each type of radar, too. They have a subscription service for updates to speed traps and red light cameras (you can download to the escort). So that might be useful depending on the area you live in.

I've had my V1 for several years now. I love it and it has NEVER let me down...

I tapped into the wires located in the courtesy light console above the mirror. (I think I found the details on which wires to tap on another site) I also used a mirror mount. I have a 9500ix and used an escort hardwire kit. I have not had an issue with it. I also replaced the courtesy light bulbs with leds. Not sure if that helps keep the current draw down much, but radar detector was there long before the bulb switch.
