Head and Neck restrain

I just finished my installation of the roll bar and harness to keep me in the seat during cornering that the club I run with posted this video on Facebook

It made me realize that all your body is strap to the seat but your head is not so I started to look around for a head and neck restrain.
I will only do HPDE event, no W2W racing so I don't need (want) the 1000+$ one. I want something easy to adjust-install, comfortable and work with a 3" harness.

Here's what I found. There are all SFI 38.1 and around 600$

When you google for information, most forum talk about how HANS try to control the market with patents and lawsuit which I'm not interested to debate if it's good or bad. I just want the best for my need.

Which one would you choose?

How do you like it? That's the one I'm most interested in.
When the white shiznit will be gone and can get the car out of the garage, I'll go to the shop and see if I can test it.

Works fine.

A little restrictive, as expected. Adjustable

I do not have experience with other brands to compare apples to apples.

I would buy one again.

Are you all using a roll bar with the neck restraints? Last season I bought six point harnesses and a Hans Sport II and used a harness bar for the belts. I was told this wasn't a safe setup if you get in a roll over. After using this setup I came to the same conclusion and will be installing a Watson Racing roll bar in a couple of weeks. From my perspective anything short of a full roll cage with fire suppression is a compromise but with the Hans and harness bar I didn't feel that was safe for me.

Yes I've got the Watson Racing roll bar and 6 point harness. And I totally agree with the harness bar. Too risky for my taste.

All of the rules I have read for clubs that do HPDEs and autoX club in my area require the instructor to have the same or better safety gear than the driver. I would check the rules for the club you run with to make sure you won't need two sets. If money is the issue you can just take it easy until they let you run solo, or resell it. I am sure someone here would take the extra setup.

I thought that rule was for seat or harness or anything related to the car. Nothing personal like fire suit, gloves, ect...
Ex : you have a 6 point for you but the instructor has only the 3 point.

Wearing a Hans is more a personal choice than anything else.

Yep exactly. I'm using Cooltech anchor clip for the lap belt and Schroth bolt in bracket for the anti-sub.
Every thing is bolted to the rear bolt of the front seat.

I have the same setup just know that NASA won't allow that at there track events. I went all the way to NASA AZ director last time out and they wouldn't let me on the track unless I used the stock belts.
