Just a heads up. There was a post that many of us saw on the Facebook page, regarding an engine failure, where the owner who is a member called out the mechanic he hired who is also a member for alleged poor workmanship. At TMO we have no problem with complaints about bad products or poor service from vendors or other members. This can be helpful in educating all on what or who gives the best performance or value for our cars. I moderated the post by removal because the information given was leading to a flame war including personal attacks that gave no real factual evidence on what happened. Some good lessons were learned, such as eliminating any potential or actual source of any debris from the engine internals. Another lesson is to follow Ford shop manual procedures and use the advised tools at all times. These engines are not 1960s small blocks, tolerances are in the 1/10,000ths so everything matters.
We will allow dissent and complaints, up until the point it becomes a circus. If people wish to continue arguing and slamming each other or the parties involved, they are welcome to continue on the Facebook general site.
Thanks, and please continue the positive, informative, and sometimes comical content that Track Mustangs Online is famous for and proud of.
