LOL, nice work. And there I was hoping I was going to learn something about lightening a car. I did, remove the engine.
Porsche has this all figured out. There's lots of room behind the rear axle for an engine. Steering, pedals and survivability in a frontal crash might be a problem, but the engine is no sweat at all.
