Is anyone signed up for this event? @Grant 302 or any of the SoCal regulars going? I've been to this track for an IndyCar ride along and it's a fabulous facility. I wish it was closer for me.

Anyway Ken Dobson is running the SoCal HOD operations and if you're at the event be sure to introduce yourself and tell him you're a BMO member. I hear he's a big Mustang fan too ;)

I am going to miss this event. Ken ran the D group at the HOD LS event we went to in May. I talked to him for a while and He was really good. I am sure will run a quality event.

Thanks folks! If you have any questions about HOD, what we're about, or any of our events, please contact me ([email protected]), Ken's not so silent partner, or Ken ([email protected]).

The September 11 event is under subscribed. https://www.hookedondriving.com/event-details/September_11_at_Auto_Club_Speedway_(Infield)

What that means to you is gobs of track time. What it means to us is Ken has to race another season to pay for this! Poor guy.

Check out our SoCal schedule: https://www.hookedondriving.com/hooked-on-driving-region/Southern-California-Region

FWIW, HOD founder Dave Ray has taken the lead in getting the Spec Mustang series rockin' in the SFR SCCA. I expect that series to spread. Only thing I don't like about it is I don't have one! :(

Hey! If you've not taken your ride to a track, then you're really missing out on what makes these cars special. I like shinin' on them as much as anyone, but no way you can safely appreciate what you've got on the street. And (pardon my bias), we're the best. Safety is priority #1 with us. Scratching the clear coat is absolutely unacceptable.

If you want to check us out, then check our calendar and JUST SHOW UP. We'll make sure you get rides with a coach and have a fun time. But be warned, you WILL be back and you WILL want to drive!

Cheers . . . FM

Hey guys and gals:

There is still lots of room at Next Friday's event at Auto Club Speedway. The folks who are signed up are going to get more track time than they can stand! So, if you're on the fence, give us a call or drop us a note. We're in a generous mood, particularly if you can convince a friend to come. ;) And we always offer discounts for referrals. See ya'll at the track!

We had a good event, folks. Mustangs were well represented . . . I even scored a ride . . . paint was still wet on this car! You think I'm kidding? I think he drove it from the dealership straight to the track! My kinda' guy.

Seems several folks were surprised to have a garage at Fontana. Well, that's right. And in December we've got Garage 3 again, so the first 38 sign-ups will have their own garage stall. But check this . . . in November we've got all 3 garages . . . plus the driver's lounge in Garage 2 . . . and we're doing the ROVAL. What more do I have to say?! But if you wait until the last minute to sign up and then don't get a garage stall, talk to the hand!

OK, fine. Then let's do this . . . between now and the end of the year, if 5 of you get together and sign up for the same event, I'll give each of you $50 back on that event. If 10 of you sign up, I'll give each of you $100 back!!! Make sure you put "BOSSMustangsOnline" in the comments section when you sign up. And if any of you tell Ken I'm doing this deal, then you'll have to deal with all 5'10", 165 lbs of me! Scared?! ;D Now some of you are gonna get wise and figure out a way to scam me for another $40 per referral. Go for it. Seriously, the only way we can convince you we're different is to show you, and I can't show you if you don't show up. So before I bankrupt myself (and Ken), please come check us out. And if you want to check us out before paying to play, that's fine. Just come on out. We'll be happy to talk to you and tell you what we're about. You may even score a ride with one of our coaches.

A couple questions I get asked a lot . . . how many cars do we field per run group, and how many groups? A group (beginner), B group (intermediate), C group (advanced), and D group (race prepped). Depends on the venue, but 25 is a typical upper bound per group. I can't imagine why we'd make an exception.

Cheers all, and Ken and I look forward to meeting more of you soon.

Now that's a cool deal. 8) Fred you should start a separate thread for this and then members should post up if they are attending.
