Hot oil pressure at idle???

Those who have a working aftermarket gauge, what is hot oil pressure at idle???

Depending upon how hot. Normal driving 45-60 psi
Coming off track, 30-45

~28-30 psi at idle and 180* oil temp for me

Of course I live in Texas and it’s hot with a side of hot here, so my temps tend run a little higher.

I'm in Houston. I assume you do not have an air to oil external cooler??

Waking this up.

I'm measuring oil pressure at my oil cooler sandwich plate vs where the factory measures it. I don't know which port I'm measuring from, if it matters.

Right now I am seeing 15 psi at idle hot.....

15 is OK if the oil is very hot, only at idle. This is mentioned in the 302S manual. Usually coming off-track, hot idle will drop under 30 PSI, usually I see around 20-25 hot idle after a 30-45 mins on-track.

Same. Almost never below 30 PSI
