I need help fixing a problem of my own making with an exhaust leak. The flange on my downpipe from my flange is damaged. The local muffler shops don't want to touch it. (Short version of story - I f****d up the header install. I am back to the OEM manifold now)

So now I am looking at options...

The most expensive is an OEM made to order down pipe. It's $1200 + a core.

I am open to going offroad only and using an X pipe on the factory manifold. However, I want the tune fixed and I want quality craftsmanship. Can anyone vouch for a quality company to manufacturer these pieces without creating more exhaust leaks or other issues down the line.

BBK headers are what I had an issue with, and they make this part...

Theres also an eBay kit that I don't even feel like posting a link to...

You can get some cheap ebay headers for $250, chopped of the end and added some decent collectors and you will get all the performance you need. BBK headers do not collector on any kind. I had a Kooks setup before and I must admit, that the ebay setup with a collector is better made and makes more power.

Point to remember... headers do not last for ever!! All that heat and abuse takes a toll.
