    This is the answer. And also one of the many reasons it can't show up in the GT500. Primary being it's a transaxle.

    I'm always surprised that someone who writes articles for a major magazine wouldn't *know* something like that.

    I got a good laugh out of the rumors that the new GT500 would have the same DCT as the GT. :D

    It would not be the first attempt to put a transaxle in a front engined car.
    I believe there are a few plastic cars running this system.
