Some interesting insight into what makes him tick. Also a couple interesting tidbits about the BOSS302, most notably:
Nice little movie at the end as well.
I'm going to see if I can get the PNs for the clutch assemblies and TOBs from Tiger, and if they are compatible with the MT82 or not.
Some interesting insight into what makes him tick. Also a couple interesting tidbits about the BOSS302, most notably:
Throw out bearing issues, overheating the slave and then the clutch circuit are inherent problems. On the street course the car runs hot, and the wall of the transmission doesn't hold up so it boiled the fluid. Switched to a Tilton clutch with a double racing throw out bearing and then had no issues. Ford keeps pressure against the throw out bearing and that transmits heat so it creates issues for racing applications. A factory throw out bearing from GT500 doesn't work well with the Boss 302’s extended high revs. Most of the clutches the Boss 302 comes with have failed because they weren't designed for racing.
