I was wondering what everyone is doing as far cooling for the IRS on non shelby's. Is it an issue on the performance pack cars. Toying with the idea of getting a 18 in the summer.

I read that BG 75W-140 diff fluid is supposed to resist heat for longer. I have it in my diff and have had no overheat issues but since the sessions I've run only lasted 20 minutes I'm not sure my experience is all that relevant. May be worth a try though since ya gotta have something in there anyway and it costs the same as the thinner stuff.
