July 2020 Tire Test - Michelin Pirelli Goodyear Top End Track Tires

Ok, so the tires he's testing are made of molded unobtainium and are priced just slightly beyond the reach of a second mortgage, but it's an interesting test looking at the top end of the three product lines.

Really clear confirmation that the Cup2 and Goodyears tires drop the grip very quickly. I did not think it would be that muchof a drop from lap to lap...

Nice to see a review with larger sized tires on a car that weighs more than a Miata. I would love to see this type of test in North America on a track with ambient temps of 85 degrees or more. Afternoon track surface temps may totally change the results compared to cool weather testing.
