I'm seriously considering ordering this. Anyone have any opinions about this setup vs. buying suspension parts from Ford Racing?

I think K. Brown is trying to sell his old Fox body stuff to s197 people and they don't need it. If you're serious about frame stiffening a roll cage is the way to go. A roll cage is magnitudes stronger relative to the weight and cost. There are lots of sources for race orientated parts.

The frame rails would at least be worth it so you don't have to worry about messing up your car when you try to jack it up.
