Laguna Seca Front Splitter

I have a 2012 Boss and was wanting to install the Laguna Seca Front splitter. My question is do I need to purchase the complete kit including the bumper bracket or just the front splitter with rods? I guess simply do I already have the bracket from the factory already on my car?

If not how difficult is it to install the bracket? Looks like installing the rest is pretty simple.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff, unless you know the bracket is installed on your car and you have the rods you'll need to purchase the entire kit. My recommendation is to purchase the World Challenge or WC splitter as it's a bit smaller, more affordable, and won't be banging into as many items as the LS splitter on the street. You need to remove the entire front bumper to install the bracket. I've had mine off a few times now and it's a lot easier than it looks. If I can remove and install the bumper correctly then anyone can do it. ;)

Kind of a collection of unicorns… what splitter fits on what BOSS , LS, & GT's. Then the other unicorn- GT500.

I need to figure out what splitter fits on that. arrgh.
There are a few good sites to look at for some background.

I believe they all fit. On the Boss you remove the standard and put not he splitter of choice.

And don't miss Blowfish Racing, a sponsor on BMO. I you believe you may eventually may want a tow hook, buy the mount from Blowfish and be done with it.

I have my bumper off quite a bit recently. Grille changes, hood pins, brake ducts. Not too bad.

Can anyone confirm what bolts are required? It's an M something. I stripped a few heads and can't find a workable match at homedepot.

Try an Ace Hardware - most stores have a great selection of Metric nuts and bolts - even the large countersunk, allen head bolts used on the underside of the splitter.

There is one for sales in Canada on Kijiji in Windsor Ontario. I believe he may be a member of BMO. He may be able to arrange shipping from Detroit.

He was asking $650 and now wants $500 CDN. That is a great deal in US dollars. I would take it but my Boss is a 2013.

I think he is also selling his PW 2012 Boss for around $44,000 CDN. It is also on Kijiji.
