Laps 8-9 were my faster laps this session (including my PB) fast forward in the video to 13:25 for the fast laps. The car has a '46 or '47 in it with flushed fluids and newer tires and me driving. Much lower with a better driver.

Thanks Rick, Alessandro brought me over to meet you at the event but you were quite a popular fella. I didn't want to interrupt or intrude. Just wanted to thank you for everything you've contributed through this site to make it what it is. Next event hopefully we'll cross paths and shake hands.
I look forward to it and thank you.

Managed my personal best today at Sonoma Raceway

Bridgestone RE71s 315s square, now mounted on teh stock CF wheels
2018 GT350R, stock

I was running mostly low to mid 1:51 times fairly consistently, when there was nobody to pass. The RE71s definitely squeal and slide more than the Cup2, put still can do good lap times. Interesting to note that the only difference today compared to my 1:52.6 a couple months ago was that the car was back on the CF wheels. So, there's your answer: the CF wheels are worth about 2.5 seconds! (at least for me)

One beautiful facility.........the planned building on Spectator Hill should be a nice upgrade for you all. I really liked the topography changes as well as the tight hill climbs off of turns 5 & 17. Tremendous respect for turn 14 while watching a few participants crest the hill a little too quickly and spin off course. Do you run there frequently?

Yes. I do Track Nights. I have done 6 this season. I used to race my shifter kart on the original track. Mid Ohio was my favorite.
Jim and Cathy Stout sp have done a great job since they acquired the track. And it’s nice to live 15-20 min away.
