My brothers 2013 Boss only has 600 miles on it,we had his Boss and my Boss in a wedding last weekend,we were running them fairly hard along with 3 other Mustangs and twice during the day his car just lost power and the check engine light came on.It is running fine now,Ive read on here before some people talking about Limp Mode. What makes these cars go into Limp Mode,or is there something else causing this.He doesn't have the Track Key activated yet, mine has the Track Key activated and I have never had this happen to my car,Any help would be appreciated to point us in the right direction,He is going to take it back to the dealer when they can get it in.

Heat will send the Boss into limp mode. I think it is cylinder head temp of 250 degrees?

Was it really hot? Low on oil or coolant?
