Magnetic Personality - Eugene Gavrylyuk’s GT350
There are many ways to racecar. The longer you are around the sport the thoughts and opinions on how to achieve Ricky Bobby status may change. Building a racecar from scratch holds a certain amount of appeal. Yet, starting with a capable platform that can take the abuse and get you home a few hundred miles after has its allure as well.
Yevgeniy Gavrylyuk has been around various platforms over the years, and is having fun putting the GT350 through its paces. At the most recent Willow Springs Track day by Signature Wheel, Griggs Racing, and the Ford Performance Racing School I got to see his car and skills in person. His willingness to help coach beginners and teach the racing line is a compliment to his cool and humble demeanor.
The GT350 continues to impress me to no end. Even more surprising was learning Eugene’s car was so capable with minimal modifications. with -3.7 degrees of camber up front I think he qualifies as a member of the kids are calling The CAMBERGANG. Take a moment to enjoy this Magnetic bomb shell with images captured by Robert Gluckman.
