We seem to have a lot of questions about what is needed to track an S197 successfully. I know I have asked more than my fair share...

Maximum Motorsports competed in a tuner competition a few years back and finished third even though the car was completely stock except for suspension mods and was ~$100,000 less than the nearest competitor. While this test was far from scientific and there were no other Mustangs present from our other supporting vendors, it does show what is possible with a properly balanced car.

The way I remember it, MM was out there at the forefront of Fox/SN95 chassis development, particularly when Ehren VanSchmus was their Engineering Director. He of the triangulated 4-link rear suspension roll bind study that still manages to see occasional referencing.
