MGW shifter spring

I have purchased a MGW shifter and was looking for some advice on how I should set up the shifter spring.Should I use both spring caps or just one,only want to do this once.

I used both caps and like it so far.

I used both, the shifter will be tight and notchy for a little while, but it will loosen up after about 200-300 miles, then its like BUTTER>...

I used both. No issues, great shifter ;D

Same here, I use both. You'll need to be patient and let it break in a bit, independent of if you use the second spring or not.
