MGW'ers: Which Shift Ball?

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

I got the plain white MGW ball a few months after the installation because:

1) I have a white car.

2) I was so impressed with the MGW unit, I am happy to pay for a shift ball that advertises them, where normally I hate having stickers/ads on my rig.

I have the stock shift ball on mine but I'm hoping one of these days Ford Racing makes a shift ball for the MT82.

I just installed the mgw today and a bigger ball my from them. Stock ball size is the best but I love the look of my new one.

Grabber blue with blue light and grabber blue ball ;)

I have tried the ball shift,a Hurst Pistol grip, and finally ended up with a Hurst T Handle. I guess I'm just old school and love the look. It also shifts very well.

I like the shift knobs from SpeedDawg. Ford Licensed Series too. I have several knobs on my Mustangs.

I really want an MGW on my Boss and think I'll do that over the winter.

I was thinking of changing mine from ball to T handle Hurst. Anyone have photos of this setup? I put one in my 95 GT after having the original 70 and I like the look and feel.

I bought mine from an Ebay seller called Sickspeed. He makes all kinds of different designs.

The shift pattern is not quite right on that one, reverse should be next to first & not fifth.
