I was on a Board of Directors once when the Chairman of the Board hit his head in a fairly mild slip and fall accident on a stairway in a family member's home. The results were awful. There are no other words for it. A really smart businessman with a brilliant career was reduced to an angry child who couldn't carry on a conversation for more than a few seconds because he couldn't remember what we were talking about. What made him angry was that he knew he was smarter than that, but for the life of him, he just couldn't keep his thoughts on any kind of track. His frustration was overwhelming.
It's no wonder the Schumacher family wants privacy.
Here's the latest on Michael as he turned 50 yesterday. Really no new news other than some speculation that me might move to Texas to be closer to a Doc that specializes is his type of brain injury. I hope he gets well enough to function in public.
