Mod list

I have an idea for a new thread. When I had my BMW there was a platform/engine specific site and they had a "mod list". The list was very detailed with the brand and link to the part. I suggest someone(not me because I do not have the knowledge) start a modification list for the Boss. It would be broken down into categories i.e suspension, engine, intake, exhaust etc. Only parts specific to the Boss would be listed, or crossover parts form the 5.0 that will work. Don't bash me for putting this out there and not wanting to do it, I simply do not have the Boss/mustang knowledge to list the data I am suggesting. it would be a great place for everyone to go and view all the Boss specific mods available for these great cars. also I am sure reviews and opinions on the mods would follow.

Gary/Rick - I'll be happy to volunteer to be the 'compiler' for this data if we want to start a compiled list. I can take what comes into this thread, catagorize and publish back as an XLS file or whatever. Does the site have the ability to post such files for subsequent download ?

Ah another spreadsheet guy. ;) We're discussing this behind the scenes and will get back to this a bit later. We appreciate you volunteering.

Interesting. I was thinking more of a list like this:

http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/forum/86-shelby-gt500-modifications-and-tech/

It basically categorizes the Technical section into manageable subgroups of related threads. This allows people to narrow the mod list to the "type" of mod they are considering versus a shopping list of available parts. There are probably more Mustang parts in the after-market than any other performance car. To list all the available parts would be almost endless. I really like the initial suggestion, just thinking the "what works" approach might be more helpful? Maybe I'm missing the point entirely.

Whichever way works. As long as its kept Boss specific so we can only look at mods available to us Boss owners. You are correct, there are thousands of mods available for Mustangs in general. Especially the old school 5.0.
