Just installed a vortech on my 12 BOSS and my 255/285 Hancook Ventus V12 tires are spinning under boost. I'm about to buy Nitto NT05- 275/35/19 and NT05r-305/35/19 for the car. I plan on street racing only and not driving in the rain. Do you think this setup is good?

How wlde are your rear wheels? You'll want 10.5 or 11" wide wheels to get a full contact patch with the 305's.

I ran the NT-05 275 and 295s for a couple years. Will get you home in the rain but not a great rain tire.

Rear wheels of 10.5 should be considered as a minimum width for the 305s.

If traction is number one priority, consider the NT-01s.

Thanks for the info. I do have Concept One wheels that are 9" and 10.5", so the 305 should fit fine.
